Is our continent genuinely inclusive of everyone in the society?
People with disabilities are not usually taken into consideration for even the most basic of needs and requirements when using public service or even general communication. In order to be a part of society, people with disabilities need money to purchase or render a service that comes as an aid to be included in society. When it comes to people with hearing impairement, it is the hearing aid.
Not necessarily available to some, and while sign language is not an official language in any of our countries in Africa, one African sought out a sustainable method of moving hearing from a privilege to an ease in communication for all.
