She’s been at it for a little while now with her whole roots/fusion style.
Coming straight out Angola, Aline Frazao has really captured my imagination. First heard her on a BBC radio show and after many hours of checking her stuff out, there was no going back with her lol. And at the time she reminded me so much of Ternielle Nelson, another artist I really appreciate. Aline’s stuff is guitar-centric with different elements of Brazilian Bossa Nova and traditional Angolan music. Here’s one of her songs I dig.
