On the 2nd of October, Google Developers Group Gaborone is set to host the most robust youth driven tech conference waved in our city.
The GDG Devfest 2015 will bring over 80 developers, innovators and techpreneurs in one area where they all use their skills and expertise to use google technologies in coming up with relevant solutions to today’s realistic problems.
Through hackathons and discussions, developers across Botswana will be in a setting where they can receive valid advice from established technpreneurs, possibly gain employment through this large networking arena as some are actually looking for genuine talent.
Developers, innovators and the public can expect tech talks, tutorials and code labs on October 2nd, followed by a hackathon running throughout the weekend. The GDG Gaborone Devfest 2015 is a free event, with the University of Botswana’s library auditorium serving as a home to all the tech-thinkers.
