Upon its 4th edition running between the 2nd to 5th of June, Beninise singing icon Angelique Kidjo is ambassador of the Nollywood Week festival.
With the festival taking home in Arlequin cinema in Saint Germain des Prés, Paris France, her presence is in line with the festival celebrating diversity. Just from receiving yet another Grammy Award, Angelique Kidho will also be showcasing her cinematic work “The CEO’ (a film directed by Kunle Afolayan).
‘’The CEO” is an engaging film riddled with actors carefully picked from across the continent; including South Africa, Nigeria, Morocco, Kenya and Ivory Cost. Starring Lala Ankidoju, Angelique Kidjo, and Jimmy Jean Louis, “The CEO’’ is based on five African executives from a telecommunications firm finding themselves and a seaside resort with a notion to appoint a new CEO, however things take an unexpected turn as each executive disappears, having prime suspects and homicide looms over the resort.
